Judy joined the Pingry Athletics Department in 1990 as an Assistant Director of Athletics. Her primary duties include coordination of logistics for all 1,200 home and away athletic contests (such as making arrangements for officials, scorekeepers and timekeepers for home contests and bus transportation for away contests). Judy also plays a role in creating each Pingry team’s season schedule, confirming arrangements with opposing schools, coordinating schedule updates and keeping a record of the results of each competition. In addition to these duties, Judy coordinates the preparation of athletic awards that are distributed to student-athletes at the conclusion of each season. She also assists the Athletic Director with site supervision of home athletic contests.
Judy graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. Before coming to Pingry, Judy was the womens’ director of athletics as well as a health and physical education teacher for grades K-12 at the Birch Wathen School in New York City. She was also the head coach of that school’s gymnastics and volleyball teams.
She enjoys spending her free time taking care of her horses, dogs and cats. She rides with the Essex Fox Hunt as well as training her horses for 3 day eventing.
