Football 101: Pingry Moms Football Academy

All Pingry moms and all other women of the Pingry community are invited to join us today for a modified football practice intended to help you learn more about football!

Roughing the passer? Holding? Linebacker? Third down? Offsides? Touchbacks? Cornerback? Guard? Defensive end? Pass interference? Encroachment? These and many more elements of the game will be explained in easy "Football 101" terms so that you and your sons will be speaking the same language!

Join us on the Martinsville Campus fields to see what our football practices are like and to have all of your questions answered so that you can fully enjoy an exciting season of Big Blue Football—as well as all of the other college football and NFL action throughout the fall.

You will be the special guests of Pingry's head football coach Chris Shilts and his fellow coaches, so please make plans to join us for a fun afternoon of Big Blue Football—and bring your friends!

Pingry welcomed back over 700 alumni for festivities that included the Magistri Inductions, Achievement in the Arts Awards, 50-Year Club Luncheon, Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Clam Bake, and Class Parties.
