This third of three required seminars on financial literacy is being provided to the Form VI students so that they will graduate from Pingry with some knowledge about personal finance, budgeting, and the importance of saving and investing wisely. We have some terrific guest speakers lined up for some of these seminars, and these events promise to be very informative sessions. Pingry parents and graduates are also welcome to attend!
FIRST SEMINAR: OCTOBER 12 (9:00 - 10:15 a.m.)
The major themes for this seminar will be credit cards, credit and credit reports, budgeting, and strategic thinking.
SECOND SEMINAR: JANUARY 23 (2:00 - 3:15 p.m.)
Major themes of this presentation will be investing, diversification and risk, liquidity, renting versus buying, and the financial planning pyramid.
THIRD SEMINAR: MAY 29 (time to be determined)
The major theme for the day will be life skills and elements of personal financial planning.
All seminars will be held in Hauser Auditorium.
